The Culinary Federation of Fiji was a recent participant of an AgriTourism Talanoa Experience event organised by the Pacific Agribusiness Research in Development Initiative (PARDI2), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Pacific Islands Farmers Organization (PIFON). The event was held at the Tokatoka Resort on 27 – 28 February 2019.

The event brought together Farmers, Tour Operators, SMEs, Private Sector, NGOs and CSOs to share experiences, identify opportunities to develop new agritourism products to increase value of tourism to communities and identify the business, market research and product development support needed to develop or improve agritourism experiences that meet market demand and increase the value of tourism to local economies.

CFF President and Ministry of Investment, Trade and Tourism Culinary Ambassador Lance Seeto presented his vision for agritourism and gastrotourism projects based on building a strong story of culture, environment and cuisine.
